Effect of Different Arsenic and Biochar Levels on Soil Microbial Population and Enzymatic Activity

Arsenic (As) poses a pervasive environmental contamination problem on global scale. Human activities have significantly contributed to the extensive presence of arsenic in soils. Recently, there has been growing interest exploring potential biochar addressing issue As-contaminated This study focused evaluating effects two types biochar, namely straw and iron-modified composition soil microbial communities enzymatic activity contaminated with arsenic.
